Rooms at The Maynard

This exquisite boutique hotel provides the ideal base for guests wishing to visit the great Derbyshire countryside, the quaint villages of Buxton and Bakewell or the grand Peak District National Park.

With ten beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms The Maynard offers guests king size beds, oversized flat screen televisions, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary WiFi Internet access.

Fluffy bathrobes can be found in our upgraded bedrooms and the two suites boast feature bathrooms. A Full Derbyshire breakfast is served in the restaurant each morning complete with homemade black pudding.

Several attractions are located within short driving distance of The Maynard including Chatsworth House and Gardens, Blue John Cavern, Meadowhall shopping centre and Padley Gorge.                                                                                                    

Dog Friendly

 We pride ourselves in being one of the only hotels in the area to welcome your four legged friends.  They are welcome in all the bedrooms (except the Main Suite), the bar area and the lounge.  For those well behaved ones, they may even find themselves being treated to a tasty dog biscuit in our bar area. We provide water bowls in the bar area for those dogs who have just popped in on their walk out and arent staying. For those lucky ones who are, we have several excellent walks around The Peak District which can be asked for at reception.

Dogs are charged at £5 per night.
