May
Spring Ramblers Break: Enjoy a relaxing break in our boutique Derbyshire hotel. Take a trip to Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Bakewell, Castleton or just enjoy one of our specially written walks, and see Spring arriving in the Peak District. Follow this with a 3 course meal in our two AA rosette restaurant. From £75 per person per night. (Includes a 3 course meal with tea or coffee, breakfast, walking guides and a free packed lunch to take with you. No charge for pets on this break).
June
Sunday 16th June 2013: Fathers Day - Bring your Dad to The Maynard to put up his feet and relax. With a specially written 3 course meal by our head chef its a great place for the whole family to celebrate how much your Dad does throughout the year. £27.50 per adult and £13.75 per child, with a free pint, glass of wine or soft drink for all Dad’s. (*Booking Required)
July
Sunday 7th July 2013: Wimbledon – Celebrate the final of Wimbledon and come and relax on The Maynard’s decking area with breathtaking views over the Derbyshire Valley. Enjoy our delicious Cream Tea with a glass of bubbly and you’ll feel just like your sitting on the terrace’s of Wimbledon.

Chatsworth Breaks: From £67 per person per night, this two night break is a great little escape during the school holidays. It includes any choice of breakfast, a 3 course meal one night, two tickets to Chatsworth and a packed lunch to take with you. Chatsworth is a great place for all ages, with a farmyard and play area for the younger ones and a stunning old house and gardens with lots of history and heritage, it caters for all. After such a busy day you’ll be pleased to sit and relax in our restaurant and enjoy a 3 course meal. (Children’s prices can be added on booking)

Sunday 8th September 2013: Grandparents Day – Treat your Grandparents to a delcious 3 course Sunday Lunch at The Maynard, enjoy our local, freshly prepared cuisine whilst enjoying the views over the garden and valley. Follow this with a gentle stroll along Suprise View or a visit to Chatsworth and give you grandparents a relaxing day to remember. 3 course lunch is £25.00 per adult and £13.75 per child (*Booking is Required)
Sunday 22nd September 2013: First Day of Autumn – Take a stroll through Padley Gorge or The Longshaw estate and see Autumn arriving in the Peak District, with the fern covered moors and the leaves starting to turn, its the perfect place to step away from it all and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. Stop off on your way at The Maynard and enjoy a pint of the finest local ale, or a warming hot chocolate and enjoy a relaxing day to prepare yourself for Monday morning.

AUTUMN OFFER BREAK: If your feeling like your Summer holiday was ages ago, why not book a weekend break at The Maynard. Its the perfect way to get yourself prepared for the Christmas mayhem begins. £70 per person (includes 3 course meal with tea or coffee and half a bottle of wine each (*Booking Required: Valid until Sunday 27th October 2013)

Monday 4th – Sunday 10th November 2013: British Sausage Week - Come and enjoy some wholesome and hearty homemade sausages. Specials everyday will feature a variety of flavours to suit every age, gender and tastebud. Celebrate something even older than Ancient Greece or Rome, brought into Britain sometime before 400AD….come celebrate the humble, yet immensly versatile sausage!
December
Wednesday 4th December 2013: North Country Theatre presents ‘The Lost World’ – Dinner is served at 6pm and the production starts at 8:00pm. 3 course meal & ticket: £35.00. Please contact North Country Theatre or The Maynard to book your place in the restaurant.
Monday 9th, Monday 16th, Wednesday 18th or Monday 23rd December: Brass Band Concerts – After the success of last year, the brass band concerts are back, and we have added another date. Tickets are £17.00 per person and include entry to the concert, pie and pea supper, tea or coffee and mince pies in the interval. Please call The Maynard to book your table now!
Festive Party Menus: Whether your treating your staff, arranging a get together with the relatives, or have a birthday in December, then we have a selection of party menu’s to suit your budget.
