The Restaurant and Bar at The Maynard
Our two AA rosette restaurant overlooks the gardens and countryside, and boasts award winning contemporary food, which is all locally sourced and freshly prepared by our experienced team of chefs.
The bar area is more informal and serves traditional, quality pub classics and snacks. We welcome dogs in the bar area, and have some excellent local draught ales, which are popular with walkers and climbers who pop in after a long day.
Luxury Accommodation at The Maynard
The fabulous accommodation offers every luxury and comfort to guests, including: king-sized beds, oversized flatscreen televisions and tea and coffee making facilities make The Maynard one of the best places to stay in the Peak District.
Our larger upgraded bedrooms also offer guests fluffy bathrobes to use throughout your stay and the two Suites feature either a luxurious corner bath or a free-standing roll top bath with separate bathroom. The hotel has been completely refurbished and has emerged as one of England´s leading contemporary boutique hotels and one of the best hotels of its kind in The Peak District.
We pride ourselves in being one of the only hotels in the area to welcome your four legged friends. They are welcome in selected bedrooms and the bar area. For those well behaved canines, they may even find themselves being treated to a tasty dog biscuit. We provide water bowls for those dogs who have just popped in from stretching their legs but are not staying with us. For those lucky ones who are Maynard residents, we have several excellent walks from the hotel around The Peak District. Details available from reception.
